pretended to understand a lesson completely
Written from actual teenage life rather than what adults imagine it looks like. That means school, group chats, crushes nobody admits to, and the specific horror of a message sent to the wrong person.
There are questions about hiding a grade, about pretending to understand a lesson, about the hand that goes up and then straight back down. There are questions about being left out and pretending not to care, about muting a chat and missing everything, about a phase nobody talks about any more. A few of them are about parents — a curfew argument, a door slammed and regretted, apologising first.
Nothing in here is adult and nothing assumes drinking. What it does assume is that teenagers already know the difference between a funny secret and a real one, so the deck leaves space for both. It ends on a handful of quieter questions about feeling behind everyone else and asking for help, because those land surprisingly well at 1am at a sleepover.
Most of it is. A handful of questions mention crushes and arguments with parents, so read ahead if you are using it in a classroom.
Roughly thirteen to eighteen. Younger players will find the Family and Kids deck fits better.
None. No drinking, nothing explicit and nothing that would need a parent to intervene.
