tried to lick my own elbow
Every question in this deck was written for children, which means no dating, no drinking, no adult references and nothing that needs a parent to step in and change the subject.
What is left is the genuinely funny part of being a kid: trying to lick your own elbow, putting your shoes on the wrong feet, hiding a vegetable under something else on the plate, talking to a pet as though it will answer. There are questions about school, about pets, about bad haircuts and about being scared of your own reflection.
Teachers use this kind of thing as a five minute reset between lessons, and it works in a classroom because nothing in the deck singles anyone out or asks about home life. Parents use it in cars, where it beats counting red cars for the ninth time. It also works at a birthday party with a group who do not all know each other, because every question has an easy answer and nobody needs to reveal anything about themselves to join in.
It works from about six upwards. Younger children can join in with an adult reading the cards out loud.
Yes. Nothing in the deck asks about family circumstances, money or anything a child might not want to share in front of a class.
They can, and they usually enjoy it more than expected. The questions are about universal childhood experiences rather than being aimed only at children.
