Friendship has its own category of small crimes, and this deck is about all of them. The jumper borrowed and never returned. The money lent and quietly written off. The plans made enthusiastically and cancelled with relief.
The questions get more interesting as they go. Early on it is about being late and blaming traffic. Later it is about the smaller group chat, about being jealous of a friend's other friends, about growing out of a friendship and staying in it out of history alone. There is a run of questions about being the one who organises everything, and a matching run about being the one who never does.
It finishes somewhere kinder — driving a long way for someone, staying on a call until they felt better, actually saying out loud that you are proud of them. Groups who have known each other for years get the most out of this deck, because half the questions will produce a specific name before anyone has finished reading the card.
Old friends. Many questions assume years of shared history. For a newer group, try the Icebreaker deck instead.
A few are pointed. Agree that anyone can pass, and skip a card rather than push someone to answer it.
Any number, though three to eight works best so everyone gets a chance to explain their answers.
